Ambient Intelligence: A future of interconnected
devicesThe Internet of Things is fascinating: a world of
interconnected devices (hypernet?) that are able to communicate and
interact. In this scenario fits the Ambient Intelligence (AmI). The
basic philosophy dates back to 90 years and foreshadows, for the
foreseeable future (2015-2020), a world in which electronic
devices, communications infrastructure and computing in general
are, in their interaction, a support tool "intelligent" for human
activities.
